chainsaw man

anime / manga - read and watched september and october 2025

sooo i've only just recently watched the chainsaw man anime, but already i can tell that it's going to be a love for me. the way it deals so heavily with guilt, desire, and what it means to be human honestly touched me in a way i didn't expect. it's really funny to watch denji be stupid and horny but it's also like , endearing and relatable. he definitely personifies a lot of the insecurities of youth. i like him a lot as a protagonist because of this rawness but also because we still get to watch him throw tf down and have fun with it.

as i write, i've finished volume 16 of the manga and watched the full anime as well as the new movie - which i plan to see again tomorrow hehehe....
